# How to Set Up SMTP for Email via Verizon

> For Verizon email users who wish to send emails via SMTP, the following configurations are necessary:

## SMTP Server Details

* **SMTP Server/Host:** `smtp.verizon.net`
* **SMTP Port:** `465`

## Authentication Information

* **SMTP User Name:** Your Verizon email address (e.g., `yourname@verizon.net`).
* **SMTP Password:** Your Verizon password.
