# How to Set Up SMTP for Email via Zoho Mail

> ZOHO Mail is part of the popular on-demand suite of ZOHO applications, including its CRM. If you need to configure SMTP settings to send emails via Zoho Mail, use the following configurations:

ZOHO Mail is part of the popular on-demand suite of ZOHO applications, including its CRM. If you need to configure SMTP settings to send emails via Zoho Mail, use the following configurations:

## SMTP Server Details

* **SMTP Server/Host:** `smtp.zoho.com`
* **SMTP Port:** `587`

## Authentication Information

* **SMTP User Name:** Your Zoho Mail address (e.g., `yourname@zoho.com`).
* **SMTP Password:** Your Zoho password.

## Additional Information

* The SMTP connection with Zoho Mail requires TLS encryption. Ensure your email client or application is configured to start TLS on port 587.
* Verify that your Zoho account allows SMTP access. Zoho usually requires enabling this feature in the Mail settings under “Email Forwarding and POP/IMAP.”
